What would journalists do if the internet and electricity disappeared? Questions were also raised about how journalists would reach the public during the first\u00a072 hours. Is there a plan in place for the private Lithuanian media? Do journalists working in private media know what to do first\u00a0in the event of\u00a0a crisis?\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:120,&quot;335559739&quot;:120}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In 2023, following the approval of the National Agenda for the Implementation of the Civil Resistance Strategy, non-governmental\u00a0organisations\u00a0and interested public groups were invited to join the plan. The second phase of the plan is expected to begin in\u00a02026. During the event, insights were shared on what the journalistic community should know about this and how to\u00a0participate.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559738&quot;:120,&quot;335559739&quot;:120}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The conference was also attended by: Audrys Antanaitis, Chairman of the Lithuanian Journalists&#8217; Union; Ernest Alesin, Head of the Lithuanian Media in National Communities; Vaiva \u017dukien\u0117, Chairwoman of the Public Information Ethics Association; Dainius Radzevi\u010dius, Inspector of Journalist Ethics; Col. Danas Mock\u016bnas, Commander of the Lithuanian Army Military Commandant&#8217;s Office; Deividas Velkas, representative of the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania, representatives of the National Association of Regional and Local Newspaper Publishers, the Internet Media Association, the Association of Municipalities, the Association of Regional Radio Stations, the Radio and Television Association, internet portals, radio stations, and newspaper editorial offices.
