The members of the Media Support Fund Board Rasa Navickien\u0117, Aurelija Arlauskien\u0117, Marija \u0160aknien\u0117, K\u0119stutis Bulka and the Fund’s administration met with the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania Simonas Kairys, Vice-Minister Vygintas Gasparavi\u010dius and the Head of the Public Information and Copyright Policy Group Deividas Velkas to discuss the draft provisions of the Rules on the Submission of Projects Funded by the Media Support Fund (the Rules) and the timeline for approval.
\nIn early summer, the Media Support Fund invited media representatives to meetings\/discussions with the members of the Council and the administration of the Fund on the provisions of the Rules, and invited them to submit written comments.
\nThe Council and the Fund’s administration sought to listen to comments from all existing and prospective applicants and the Fund’s experts, and to consider suggestions.
\nThe draft of Rules approved by the Council at its meeting on 15 July 2010, as improved in the light of the comments submitted by the media sector. On the same day The Fund’s administration submitted rules draft to the Ministry of Culture the Media Support Fund Council 2024.
