{"id":945,"date":"2024-10-15T13:27:48","date_gmt":"2024-10-15T10:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.medijufondas.lt\/?p=945"},"modified":"2024-10-16T09:54:45","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T06:54:45","slug":"media-support-fund-launches-calls-for-financial-support-in-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.medijufondas.lt\/en\/uncategorized\/media-support-fund-launches-calls-for-financial-support-in-2025","title":{"rendered":"Media Support Fund launches calls for financial support in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Media Support Fund, in accordance with the decision of the Council of the Fund of 15 October 2024, is launching a call for proposals for financial support for 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The Fund will support projects, activities and grants for public information producers\/disseminators in four programmes:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Cultural Media and Cultural Periodicals;<\/li>\n<li>Regional Media;<\/li>\n<li>News, Investigative and Educational Journalism;<\/li>\n<li>Media in national minority languages for the Lithuanian diaspora.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The calls are open from 15 October 2024 to 13 November 2024 at 24.00. Applications submitted after the deadline set in the call will not be evaluated.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025 applications are submitted in an electronic form, which can be found on the Foundation&#8217;s website<a href=\"https:\/\/medijufondas.grantplatform.com\/\"> here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Applications received on time and meeting the administrative eligibility requirements will be evaluated by experts and the Fund&#8217;s Council will take a decision based on the experts&#8217; conclusions.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants for funding should note that applications must reflect the requirements set out in the Fund&#8217;s Rules for the Submission of Funded Projects (&#8220;the Rules&#8221;) and in the conditions of funding. We kindly invite you to carefully read the 2025 Rules and their annexes.<\/p>\n<p>Please note the substantial changes\/updates to the Rules for the 2025 Call:<\/p>\n<p>Lower requirements for projects by start-up public information producers\/disseminators in all programmes (no requirement to have been active for 2 years or more; circulation and audience must be reached in the second half of the second year of activity);<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduced requirements for all programmes (number of staff, period of operation, circulation, audience);<\/li>\n<li>Information is published only in Lithuanian;<\/li>\n<li>Funding for minority activities;<\/li>\n<li>Restriction on the participation of politicians in the activities of the producer\/disseminator of public information;<\/li>\n<li>a fixed number of applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that during the administrative eligibility assessment, only once will be allowed to submit additional or clarified data at the request of the Fund&#8217;s administration, so please fill in your application carefully and responsibly.<\/p>\n<p>The Fund invites the media actively participate in the remote consultations on the changes\/ innovations to the rules and the technical aspects of the application process.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions, please contact the Fund&#8217;s administration: info@medijufondas.lt.<\/p>\n<p>The Fund wishes you success in completing and submitting your applications!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Media Support Fund, in accordance with the decision of the Council of the Fund of 15 October 2024, is launching a call for proposals for financial support for 2025.
